Medallion Installation Instructions

Irregular form medallions will be shipped with installation template. Detailed step-by-step instruction and routing bit included with each medallion.

Please verify the thickness and type of the floor where medallion will be installed before placing an order. Unless specified, all wood medallions are supplied at an overall 3/4" thickness, with 5/8" hardwood wear layer. You may specify an alternate overall thickness.

All wood medallions are square edged( no grooves, straight cut ), glue-down installation only.

Unfinished medallions are available in 5/8" or 3/4" total thickness.

Some models, up to 47", can be prefinished and made in required thickness for an additional 10% charge. Please contact us for more information.

Adhesive Recommendations: For medallions and borders installation Modern Floors recommends Bostik © 1100FS glue.
A fast curing, one-part, cartridge/gun applied, moisture cure urethane adhesive that does not contain water or chlorinated solvents, is V.O.C. Compliant and has no ozone depleting chemicals.

All standard products are unfinished.
Wood colors are natural - no stains used.
